We are seeking Commercial Contract Experts for a unique, dynamic and challenging role at the intersection of law and technology.

As Commercial Attorney, you will join LawGeex’s Legal QA team focused on performing detailed contract review and analysis to verify the quality of the automated review completed by the LawGeex legal AI platform and provide legal services through LawGeex’s license to practice law.

A Day in Your Life:

  • Review a large number of contracts to edit, draft and revise a variety of commercial legal concepts.  
  • Provide internal technical and legal feedback regarding the automated review completed by the LawGeex platform, taking into consideration specific client guidelines.
  • Take part in customer interviews and help implement customers legal policies into the LawGeex platform to support their contracts. 
  • Interact with various departments within LawGeex such as: sales, CS, product etc. 


Requirements

  • Seasoned attorney with a strong record of professional commitment and goal achievement. 
  • JD, with active Utah license, plus a minimum 8 years of complex commercial contracting experience.
  • Must have direct experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, including NDAs, Service Agreements, Software License Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Data Processing Agreements, etc.
  • Experience Authoring corporate contract management guides/playbooks a plus.
  • Comfortably interacts with senior executives and possesses excellent communication and writing skills 
  • Capacity to work independently yet collaboratively and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience and ability to train and supervise a team of legal professionals beneficial but not required

 

LOCATION: 

The position will be in Lehi, UT. No relocation expenses provided.
